Thutmose III

Biography
Thutmose III was the stepson of Hatshepsut and became one of Egypt’s most successful military leaders. He led 17 campaigns and expanded Egypt’s borders to their greatest extent. His statues often portray him in traditional pharaonic form—youthful, strong, and composed—with detailed headdresses and hieroglyphic inscriptions. These statues were placed in temples like Karnak to commemorate his victories and honor the gods. His rule is remembered for military power and monumental contributions to temple architecture and sculpture.
